Thank you to all the individuals, groups, organizations, governments, regions, and countries who participated in World’s Longest Toilet Queue 2010. A massive success and a first attempt at this particular record so we can give you congratulations on being Guinness World Record holders! Of course, this depends on final verification from Guinness World Records, and we’ll keep you updated on this.

Highlights of the World’s Longest Toilet Queue 2010:

  • Around 80 countries involved
  • 30,000 taking action across Nepal
  • 30,000 children queuing in 50 schools across Nigeria
  • 5,000 joining the Queue in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso
  • 1,500 in one Queue in Bhopal, India
  • Wide participation geographically and across marginalized and affected groups

This event was exhilarating to run, but the task is not over yet!

The team will be taking your Queue actions to the High-Level Meeting in Washington DC on 23rd April to further pressure attendees to act now to stop the sanitation and water crisis.
