World Health Day

Wednesday, 7th April 2010, 11:15am

Greetings to all WLTQ advocates, and Happy World Health Day from WSSCC!

Just because WWD 2010 has passed does not mean that advocating for basic human rights like clean water and safe sanitation are finished! EWP, WSSCC, and FAN are still working hard to spread the message of the ENORMOUS success of WLTQ with the world, so that this global campaign coninues to have an impact of governments, policies, and most importantly, the lives of people.

The WLTQ 2010 was recognized and acknowledged all over the world, in dozens of languages and with thousands of people, and we need to keep the momentum going! The High-Level meeting on 23 April in Washington D.C. is only 16 days away! Feel free to continue using the WLTQ resources on http://www.worldtoiletqueue.org/ and adapting them to your specific needs, sending them to your networks and continuing to bring global awareness to this essential health issue, especially today, World Health Day!

Important information for all those who hosted real toilet queues: Don't forget to fill out the quick (only 10 questions!) and easy (just click on the link!) survey. If you did not receive an email with the survey link, please contact emily.deschaine@wsscc.org as soon as possible. We need your feedback and creativity to make WLTQ an even bigger success next year!

Thanks for your continued support, and make a stand for Sanitation and Water today in support of World Health Day!
